The Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy (SGCA) held a virtual Gospel concert titled ‘In His Time’ as a fundraiser to support the COVID relief activities of Centre for Social Action (CSA). This concert was premiered on YouTube on 19th September 2021 at 7 pm. This concert featured the Stop-Gaps Choral Ensemble as well as well-known singers from across the city performing Christian Gospel Music.
As the SGCA approached CSA for this fundraiser concert, we were glad to be a part of this initiative. The link for online donations was provided by CSA. CSA also shared the interventions or activities undertaken for Covid19 relief across its project areas (Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts). With efficient coordination and support from the Stop-Gaps team, CSA also sent out promo videos about the concert through Whatsapp and other social media pages of CSA, SGCA, Examiner and the Archdiocese of Bombay. Announcements were also made during the online mass in various parishes in the Archdiocese of Bombay. A press release was also published on the Archdiocese of Bombay website and in 2 issues of the Examiner. An article about the concert was also published in the Mid-Day newspaper.
