Mahad Relief

The floods in Mahad have taken a toll on the people and they are going through difficult times. While life is slowly limping back to normalcy and electricity has been restored in a few places, water is still a concern. In the first phase of relief operation the beneficiaries were provided with dry ration and cooked meals. The second phase is in progress.

Paned livelihood success story

Paned village is located in Pen Taluka of Raigad district. The tribal hamlet has 450 members and 70 households. All households fall in BPL category. Due to landlessness, there is no consistent and reliable source of income for the tribal families throughout the year. Ganesh Kripa SHG is a group of
5 women of the Paned village who are involved in SHG activities such as regular saving.

Manthanpada Street lights

Manthanpada is an area located in Manori. Though close to Mumbai, the Manthanpada tribal community had no access to basic needs and facilities. Our partner, Savdhan Samaj Kendra is working in Manori with children, youth & women, which has facilitated the formation of a Manthanpada Mahila Mandal group.

Chandrapur – Block level forum

The 1st block level forums for Chandrapur district under the project Maza- Maharashtra Maza Sahabhag was held in Pombhurna and Bhatala blocks on the 28th and 29th of May 2019 respectively. CSA team along with UNICEF consultant Ms. Rejani and 3 master trainers were present to make both these events a success.
