The Women-Led Empowering Action (WLEA) project, in collaboration with Misereor and Caritas India, has yielded significant results over the past three years through the Centre for Social Action (CSA) at the Jeevan Vikas Kendra centers in the Mahad and Panvel blocks. In this video, Kathkari tribal women share their experiences transitioning from chemical farming to traditional organic farming. This shift was made possible through exposure visits and training programs focused on sustainable agricultural practices. The women also discuss how they addressed various village issues after participating in awareness training programs on good governance.
